Retired Federal Government Employee from the Department of Revenue (IRS) in Washington, D.C.

Favorite pastime: working in the church with the people and the children of God.  Watching the children express themselves by singing and explaining what they have learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Pastor Glover's training for such a time as this, began in 1996 at the Galatians Baptist Church, Washington, DC, under the leadership of the late Pastor JC Elmore.

Catechized by Rev. Dr. William Hill, Pastor Emeritus, New Chapel Baptist Church in Maryland.  

Licensed and Ordained, July 31, 2005, by the National Baptist Convention of Washington, DC &Vicinity.  After the death of Pastor Elmore, she worked along with the late Rev. Leon Gilmore in the leadership position. The Late Rev. Leon Gilmore moved his membership, and  Pastor Glover served the church until Rev. Dr. Frederick Harris was installed as pastor.

Returned to South Carolina in 2015 to help take care of her sick mother, she connected with the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel Brown, Jr., a man of God that allowed her to grow even more. 

After Pastor Brown resigned as Pastor in August, 2017, she served as the church leader along with Rev. Leon Stokes, Jr., until installed as the pastor on July 29, 2018.

In preparation for the work of the ministry, Pastor Glover, attend the Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute, DC Campus, Virginia Theological Seminary, under the direction of Bishop Dr. Earl A. Ross, which told the whole class, everything you thought you knew about the Word of God  “Throw It Out”.  Further preparation was completed at The Wilbur Waters School of Religion and Theological Seminary under the direction of  the late Dr. Mark  K. Jackson and  the late Dr. Alexander.  The National Baptist Congress of Christian Education (Ministerial Ethics),  more study classes at  Maple Springs Theological Seminary, Howard University Saturday School of Divinity also The Cathedral School of Religion where her classes included Pastoral Counseling and Care.

Pastor Glover was named the first female minister of the Evangelism Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. under the leadership of Dr. Oliver K. Patterson, Sr., and President L.K. Floyd, Washington, DC.

She was married to the late Mr. Raymond L. Glover, two sons: Earl and Eric, one daughter-in-law, Bronica and six grandchildren.

Pastor Glover’s favorite scripture is Colossians 4:5-6: Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.  Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
